1939-41 Light Heavyweight Champion of the World (vacated title)
1939 Edward J. Neil Memorial award for fighter of the year: This award is the most prestigious award in the sport of boxing.
1939 Dapper Dan Award: This award is given each year by the city of Pittsburgh to an athlete who brings the most attention to the city. Billy was the first person to ever receive the award.

1978 The Boxing Writers Association nationwide poll named Billy the best light-heavyweight of all time.
1981 In it's January issue, Ring Magazine named the first bout between Joe Louis and Billy Conn the Greatest Fight of All Time.
1988 Grand Marshall, Chicago St. Patrick's Day Parade
1998 On June 18th, the anniversary of Billy's fight with Joe Louis, Mayor Tom Murphy and the City of Pittsburgh named the corner of Fifth Avenue and Craig Street Billy Conn Blvd. The sign is in front of St. Paul's Cathedral.
